Program Overview
This 4-week Nephrology rotation offers students the opportunity to work closely with an experienced nephrologist in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The rotation is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the evaluation and management of a wide range of kidney-related conditions while introducing students to the multidisciplinary aspects of patient care. Students gain exposure to chronic kidney disease, hypertension management, electrolyte disorders, dialysis-related care, and nephrology consultations. The combination of outpatient continuity and inpatient exposure provides a well-rounded understanding of nephrology practice in the U.S. healthcare system.
